Latino Jobs Report: Job Growth Continues in May
MetadataShow full item record
The U.S. Department of Labor reported that U.S. employers added 280,000 jobs in May 2015, an increase of 57,000 jobs (20%) from the previous month. The national unemployment rate, at 5.5%, changed little. Employment gains of 57,000 in leisure and hospitality likely boosted Latino employment. Continued growth in leisure and hospitality jobs is likely as vacation season approaches.
