Our vision is to develop new leadership across multiple sectors—corporate executives, public officials, activists, and organizers who will serve their communities and promote social justice at the local and national levels. We offer an array of growth opportunities to our national network of high school and college students and young professionals. Through a series of civic engagement efforts and leadership-building activities, as well as professional development opportunities, we build the skills of Latino youth in our network and increase their leadership capacity. Our website (lideres.nclr.org), quarterly e-newsletter, and presence on social media sites (@nclrlideres) alert our members to grants, scholarships, internships, fellowships, conferences, and other networking events. We also regularly share resources that highlight community issues, leadership and educational opportunities, civic engagement efforts, and inspirational stories of young leaders in the Hispanic community.
